The Beyond Nen Nen types are the affinity groups that decide which Nen abilities you can use in this Hunter x Hunter inspired Roblox action RPG. Not to be confused with Hunter Era, Eternal Nen or Nen Fighting Simulator, which are separate games. Here is what the sources say about each type, and what nobody has confirmed yet.
Beyond Nen Nen Types Explained
Item Level lists five affinities: Enhancement, Emission, Transmutation, Conjuration and Manipulation. Destructoid adds a sixth group called Specialization, which holds Aura Corruption and Boost. Whether Specialization is something you can roll like the other five is unconfirmed.
That gap explains why guides disagree on the count. One peer wiki teaches only four directions, and another says six types with one tied to a specific lineage. We have not verified either claim in game, so for Beyond Nen Nen types, treat the number as five confirmed affinities plus one open group.

The table below lists every ability Destructoid named, grouped by category, with rarity where the source gave one. It uses early access data from October 9, so launch values may differ. The developers have not published a full ability list.

Rarity is not the same as strength. No ability tier list exists yet. Destructoid says its own ranking will come after launch, so the Beyond Nen tier list covers lineages and races only for now. Your lineage also matters, and the Beyond Nen lineages page shows the roll odds.
Mastery And Skill Tree
Press M to open the Nen skill tree. Item Level and Destructoid both give that key. Some abilities in the tree are gated by mastery levels, such as Transmutation Mastery and Emission Mastery. In practice, the type you roll decides which mastery line you will need to invest in.
Item Level also says Zetsu and Ken are extra techniques, unlocked by meeting requirements and gaining meditation XP. Other keys, such as E for the technique wheel and G for Nen charge, are listed on the Beyond Nen controls page.
What Is Still Unconfirmed
Several points are open, and we would rather say so than guess.
- Whether Specialization can be rolled, or is tied to a lineage.
- The complete ability list and rarities after the November 7 launch.
- Rarity for Fan Beam and Aura Corruption.
- Roll odds for each affinity. The developers have not published them.
- Whether a good affinity can be re-rolled.
Item Level and Destructoid also disagree on the route to Nen. Destructoid requires the Hunter License, while Item Level says level 10 and the Librarian.
