Beyond Nen Beginner Guide

Beyond Nen beginner guide: the tutorial, reaching level 10, the mission board, spins, your first weapon and the road to Nen.

This Beyond Nen beginner guide covers how to play Beyond Nen, the Hunter x Hunter inspired action RPG on Roblox, from your first minutes to your first real goals. It is not Hunter Era, Eternal Nen or Nen Fighting Simulator, which are separate games. The game only reached full release on November 7, 2026, and no official wiki exists, so the steps below come from a handful of early guides and are marked where sources disagree. The Beyond Nen wiki home page lists everything we track.

Beyond Nen Beginner Guide: Your First Hour

You start on Whale Island. Begin with the tutorial and finish it: one guide says it hands out extra spins, and the tutorial boss may drop a Legendary Chest. Both claims come from a single source, so treat them as likely rather than certain.

Once the starter quests unlock the mission board, use it as your main way to level. The advice in that guide is simple: pick the quickest mission on offer, such as the Forest Brawler or Cave Brawler jobs, and repeat it, since the board offers an immediate repeat. Open the quest tracker with P if you lose track of what is next.

An early quest also lets you choose a starter weapon, either a Sword (the Archive Sword) or a Bat (Jager's Bat). The pick matters because each weapon has its own skills. Our Beyond Nen controls page lists the keys that sources have published so far.

Reach Level 10

Level 10 is the first big goal. One guide says that at level 10 you can talk to the Librarian in Port Town, which starts the road to Nen. Another outlet, Destructoid, ties that route to the Hunter License instead. Until the developers clarify, plan for both: reach level 10 and work toward the exam.

For the full walk-through, see how to get Nen in Beyond Nen, which covers the Librarian, Rohan and the Meditation Mat.

Spins, Races And Lineages

Your race and lineage come from spins. Spins arrive from the tutorial and from redeem codes. Destructoid reports two launch codes worth 10 spins each, but we list a code only with two independent sources, so check the current Beyond Nen codes page before redeeming anything. Codes go in the codes box at the bottom right of the customization menu.

The two systems work differently. There are five Beyond Nen races, from Human at about 60 percent down to Celestial at about 1 percent. There are 20 Beyond Nen lineages, and one source says you can reroll a lineage at any time. Published rankings of both disagree, so do not panic over a common roll.

Weapons And Stats

Later weapon types, including gauntlets and snipers, are said to come through schematics. Because every weapon has separate skills, the practical tip from one guide is to hold your stat points and skill points until you have settled on a weapon. That is advice, not a tested result.

The game does not publish stat formulas, caps or a class system, so we do not guess at builds. Pairing your weapon with a Nen affinity is part of the design, which you can read about under Beyond Nen Nen types.

Road To Pro Hunter And Nen

The long-term goal is to work toward Pro Hunter. The usual path starts with the Beyond Nen Hunter Exam, a four-stage test that ends in a 1v1 and, on a win, the Hunter License. The license opens Hunter missions. One guide says the exam shows up every four hours; no other source confirms that timing.

After the license comes the Nen route: buy a Meditation Mat, meditate with T, then return to Rohan for a random Nen ability. Some Nen abilities and passes affect how you play, so see the list of Beyond Nen Nen abilities and the Beyond Nen gamepasses page for what the shop sells. Reputation, bounties and PvP are mentioned but not explained anywhere yet.

Keep this Beyond Nen beginner guide open while you play, and use the Beyond Nen guides list when you want the next step. This Beyond Nen beginner guide is rechecked as sources change.

Beyond Nen Beginner Guide FAQ

How long does the first hour take?

No source gives a time. Finish the tutorial, unlock the mission board, repeat the fastest mission and pick a starter weapon; that is the whole opening loop described so far.

Should I spend my stat points right away?

One guide suggests waiting until you choose a weapon, because each weapon has its own skills. The developers have not published stat rules, so this is a cautious suggestion only.

Do I need the Hunter Exam to get Nen?

Sources disagree. Destructoid says the Hunter License is the route, while another guide says level 10 and the Librarian start it. The exam is the safest long-term goal either way.

Is there an official guide or wiki?

No. Neither an official wiki nor a Trello exists as of November 7, 2026, and announcements are posted in the developers' Discord. We do not cover scripts or exploits.
